About us – Gommans Zeilen

Since 1973, Gommans Zeilen has been the trusted address for sailmaking and nautical canvas work. The family business, founded by Peter and Til Gommans, has since 2005 been carried on with the same passion and craftsmanship by their son Björn and his wife Miranda. From our modern 1,800 m² workshop at the De Reubenberg business park in Swalmen, we deliver high-quality products to shipyards, boatyards, and private boat owners - both in the Netherlands and abroad.

Custom-made solutions and personal advice

No two boats are the same – that’s why we always deliver custom-made solutions. You are more than welcome to visit our workshop, but we are also happy to come to your boat’s mooring. Together, we will explore the possibilities for material selection, color, finishing, and fittings, ensuring a result that perfectly matches your wishes and the look of your boat.

Repairs and maintenance

Through intensive use and exposure to sun, wind, and water, canvas work can wear out over time. That’s why we have our own repair service. Our specialists quickly and professionally repair damage to covers, deck cloths, tents, and sails, so you can get back on the water without worry.
